Peas and Peppers Stir Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Frozen peas
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Medium White Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Avocado Oil

Spices

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1.5 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala

Instructions
 

  • Chop the onions and bell peppers small pieces. You can use any color bell peppers but using three different colors give the dish a beautiful color and flavor.
  • Heat your pan for a few minutes and add the oil. Next we add the cumin seeds. When the seeds start the sizzle, add the chopped onions and stir for a few minutes.
  • Add the bell peppers and give it a good stir till the edges star browning.
  • Add the frozen peas, stir and cover the pan to let the veggies soften up as they steam. Remove the lid a few times to stir the veggies so they don't stick to the bottom of the pan. You can sprinkle a little water if needed. The veggies should be cooked in about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and add the coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt. Sauté for a few minutes and the dish is ready to serve.
